Covid-19 Risk Management

*** As per new SA Health Guidelines (29 April 2022) if you are a close contact, you cannot physically attend therapy at One 82 for 7 days from your exposure date.

While One 82 Consulting takes all reasonable steps towards supportive practices such as disinfecting, promoting hygiene, social distancing, vaccination for workers and wearing masks, it is important for you to understand that you may be exposed to COVID-19 as a result of attending our premises.

In addition, there may be individuals who attend our clinic currently, including children under 12 years of age, who are unvaccinated resulting in an increased risk of you being exposed to COVID-19.

We ask that you consider changing your appointment to a telehealth session if appropriate.

No clients or visitors can attend One 82 if they identify as having any symptoms of a cold or influenza (including coughs, sniffles or a fever). We ask that if you are sick that you cancel your face to face session and attend via a Telehealth service.

To prepare you for your upcoming session at One 82 we have created a list of requirements to assist with everyone's safety.

The vaccination status of all staff, therapists and clients are currently monitored. Therapists will ask visitors for signed verification of vaccination status. We currently take the precaution of only seeing unvaccinated clients (older than 12 years of age) in a setting that absolutely limits the potential for contamination or transmission to other clients (for instance via telehealth or in an approved outdoor setting).

All therapists and staff are appropriately vaccinated at One 82.

We ask that all visitors use our provided hand sanitizer on entering and leaving One 82.

We ask that you consider using other options while waiting for your appointment time, for example: remain waiting in your car or wait outside the clinic. The waiting room will remain open but with reduced seating capacity.

There is a current requirement for visitors to wear masks in our clinic. People are not required to wear a mask if they are under the age of 12yrs, if they have a relevant medical condition, including problems with their breathing, a serious condition of the face, a disability or a mental health condition.

Please ensure proper social distancing (1.5 metres apart) throughout the One 82 building.

There is currently a maximum of 4 people allowed in the waiting room at any one time.

The narrow pathway through the clinic requires the cooperation of everyone. We ask that you walk to your therapy room or to the toilet (from your therapy room or from the waiting room) directly without congregating or standing in pathway areas.
