Kylie has a degree in Disability Studies, a postgraduate degree in Special Education, is a trained Special Education teacher and a registered member of the Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated (DEAI).

 

As a Developmental Educator, Kylie’s main focus is to develop a person’s skillset to increase their ability to live independently. Using a strengths-based person-centered approach, Kylie designs individualised programs that meet current National Disability Insurance Scheme

(NDIS) criteria.

 

Services can be provided in a person’s home, local community or office based. NDIS clients need to be self or plan managed.

 

Areas of specialty include:

•    Financial literacy

•    Independent living skills

•    Life stage transition

•    Daily scheduling

 

Kylie can work with individuals in the area of financial literacy to acquire practical money management skills that support independent living.
